USTelecom is a proud member of the National Preparedness Month Coalition, and September is National Prepared Month. So we've dedicated our home page video wall to a series of facts about National Preparedness Month and Ready.gov. For instance, did you know that 90% of U.S. communications infrastructure is privately held? That means making investment in network capacity and reliability is critical to our nation's emergency response efforts. We also highlight USTelecom's Public Safety and National Security Telecom Toolkit, which we talked about here when we launched it last month.
In addition, the newest edition of USTelecom's Broadband Now vidcast is focused on how broadband helps keep our families, our communities, and our country safe from both natural and man-made threats.
