Written by: Sarah Versaggi
The communications industry heads to Las Vegas next week for NXTcomm08, the one event delivering voice, video and data insight unlike any other. Featuring more than 100 in-depth keynote addresses, sessions and conferences, NXTcomm08 is where industry leaders gather to share their experience, intelligence and forecasts with executive and technical professionals so that they can stay steps ahead of the trends and--most importantly--the competition.
The event's outstanding keynotes include AT&T Chairman & CEO Randall L. Stephenson and Telstra CEO Sol Trujillo opening NXTcomm08 on Tuesday; Verizon Chief Operating Officer Denny Strigl and Sun Microsystems Chairman and Co-founder Scott McNealy on Wednesday; and Mark Burnett, whose reality TV empire includes Survivor, and CableLabs® President and CEO Dr. Richard Green on Thursday.NXTcomm08 will also cover the top technologies and issues facing the communications industry: sessions on WiMAX, IPTV, broadband, and content issues; offerings by ATIS, Broadband Wireless World, FierceMarkets and IEC; Telephony-, Yankee Group- and iHollywood-sponsored Summits; and programming organized by DiversityNXT, Stifel Nicolaus and Wiley Rein. As an added bonus, this year's event is co-located with InfoComm -- attendees who register for NXTcomm08 also receive free access to InfoComm 08 (Las Vegas, June 18-20).
NXTcomm08 - and Las Vegas -- is the place to be next week for the movers and shakers in the communications industry.
