MPAA Tackles Net Regulation; McCormick on C-Span

A couple of quick notes from the week that was.
Dan Glickman, chairman and chief executive officer of the Motion Picture Association of America had some strong words about the dangers of Internet regulation proposals that would add new layers of government involvement to the management of the Internet. Read more about Glickman's comments here.
Also, USTelecom President and CEO Walter B. McCormick Jr. recently appeared on C-SPAN's The Communicators, a weekly series with interviews of the leaders shaping our digital future. Walter talked about how consumers are benefiting from broadband deployment and adoption and the need for public policy that encourages investment and innovation in the dynamic communications sector.
