Friday Follies: How Sinful is YOUR State?

Thanks to the big brains at Kansas State University who have done us the favor of mapping the country according to its proclivities for each of the Seven Deadly Sins. (Hmmm... Wonder if stimulus money that paid for this research? Oh well, no matter, it's valuable stuff.) For those that need reminding, the big 7 would be sloth (I always put that one first, as it's my favorite and all too often overlooked), gluttony, lust, greed, envy, pride and wrath.
There's not only a map, but they've gone one better and broken out "hot spots" for each, to save you the trouble, in case you're planning your next vacation. Of course, the sloth fans out there are not planning their next vacations. That would be too un-slothful.
So check it out, see where your state ranks according to your favorite vices. Maybe it's time to change some of the state mottoes. I don't know about you, but I'd rather vacation in "The Sloth State" than "The Keystone State," wouldn't you?
