A great op-ed by that title in today's WaPo, warning of the growing trend toward protectionism around the globe and its deleterious effects. A good read.
Here's a link to a USA Today story from earlier this month that lists 22 countries that took protectionist measures since September of 2008, based on WTO data. A disturbing trend indeed.
