Friday Follies: The Garden Bubble Cam
March 28, 2008
Written by: Pat Cleary
We've posted big time-wasters here before, like Watch It Shred. This one might be even more dangerous. Thanks to Nancy Nickerson for passing along this gem from AndieAndMike.org, a live video feed of a garden somewhere in the sunny climes of South Florida -- in Andie and Mike's back yard, to be precise. But this is no ordinary video feed. Through the wonders of technology, they've made it interactive so that the viewer can click on the button labeled, "Bubbles" and trigger a 30-second burst of bubbles from their "commercial bubble machine," whatever that is. Since their backyard is not lit at night, the camera shot is just dark, so it's best tried in the daytime, like while you're at work.
So click here to try out the garden bubble cam. And don't blame us if you don't get your work done.
