Friday Follies: Dante's Inferno Test
March 14, 2008

It's been a tough week for virtue what with this Eliot Spitzer thing playing out. It has certainly set a bunch of us to thinking about the hereafter, wondering where we all might end up -- like Clients # 1-8 and 10-100.
Thanks to the ever-resourceful Lowen Baumgarten, we stumbled upon this handy-dandy test to help you ascertain what level of hell, limbo or purgatory you may end up inhabiting. You'll recall that in Dante's Inferno, the worse your behavior on earth, the lower you went in the inferno. Nuns in the penthouse, trial lawyers in the cellar. You get the idea. Just kiddin'...
So take a few minutes to complete this test and find out whether you have a shot with the repenting believers or whether you'll be down there with the heretics or the fraudulent, malicious panderers. Ick. We know some of these people, but haven't been in touch since college. Really.
Good luck. See ya in Purgatory.

Everyone's sins are unique. My brother Austin had me take this test and our scores (and consequent levels of hell) were very different. But some people are just special. I'd like to watch Spitzer as he clicks his answer to #7: "Have you ever cheated on a boyfriend, girlfriend, or spouse?"
...or True/False #11:
"Hammering away on scandals is a good way to damage those with whom you disagree politically."
...or #31:
Have you recently done something that you've criticized others for doing?"
