Friday Follies: Uncle Ted Sings "Jalisco"
February 22, 2008
Written by: Pat Cleary
Caught this video on Chris Matthews' show on MSNBC last night. Reminded us of when our crazy Irish uncles would come over to the house, maybe have a little too much to drink, and start to sing -- only they used to sing in English. We think. Truth is, we were never actually sure. So here's crazy Uncle Ted in Laredo, Texas, singing "Jalisco," en espanol a song apparently named for the birthplace of tequila. Maybe if you vote for Obama -- like he asks -- he'll stop singing.
We can hope.....
