A 'Time Out' On Trade Agreements?
February 27, 2008
Written by: Pat Cleary
Seems the Dem candidates are talking about a "time out" on any more trade agreements, even though trade agreements open markets to US manufacturers. Just caught up with this piece from my old friend Carter Wood over at ShopFloor.org, making the point pretty clearly about what a lousy idea a "time out" for the US would be.
If that doesn't make sense to you, Just examine this image for a while and you'll get the idea. See, it's a globe. It's called "global trade" for a reason. If one country doesn't buy or sell it, somebody else will.
