Tanker Deal - You Can't Put a Flag on a Company

In one of the places you might least expect it (Boeing's home state of Washington), Seattle Times columnist, Danny Westneat comments on the Air Force's recent decision to buy a fleet of aerial fuel tankers from the team of Northrop Grumman, EADS. In, "We reap what we outsource," Westneat correctly lays out the globalization of the aviation & defense industries - for both foreign and domestic corporations. Quite simply, we can't put flags on these firms any longer, and, to be honest, that's to all of our benefit.
