Blog Post from Business Roundtable

April 22, 2008

Maybe Jim Henson's amphibian had it right. As one of Business Roundtable's members noted recently, "Sustainability is a journey, not a destination." Beyond Earth Day, more and more companies are seeking to be a part of the solution to bettering society and the environment.
Our recent progress report demonstrates that profits and low costs are compatible with a strong commitment to social and environmental improvements.
Adopting sustainable business practices may not be easy to do but Business Roundtable members--dedicated to action--make it look easy. Could Kermit have been half right?
