The Story of Kern River

Last week I had the pleasure of touring the Kern River field, which is one of America's oldest and most prolific oilfields. It was discovered in 1899 in California's San Joaquin Valley, and 110 years later, it continues to produce 80,000 barrels of oil a day with the help of modern technology.
